Mary
O'Connor studied
herbalism with Tammi Hartung at Desert Canyon Farm in Canon City,
Colorado.
Mary was formerly the garden manager at the Maytag Mountain Ranch in Hillside Colorado and she helped create their permaculture garden. She's now an herbalist and beekeeper with six hives. She harvests both honey and beeswax for her herbal products. And, of course, Mary makes herbal soaps, creams, lotions and salves using herbs she grows herself. She makes aroma misters with pure essential oils. She lives in the mountains at 9000' in Rosita, Colorado, just east of the 14,000' peaks of the Sangre de Cristo range of the Rocky Mountains. |
